Morvarid Tayyeb is a UAE-based researcher that specialises in the region’s art eco-system, with a primary focus on fostering early career artists. Morvarid’s experience spans across the UAE, Middle East and United Kingdom, undertaking projects that focus on artist development and cultural programing within educational and cultural institutions, commercial entities and charitable foundations. Morvarid’s approach is rooted in research-led strategies.
Morvarid holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Management from the American University of Sharjah. Alongside her role as a researcher at the Institute for Emerging Art, she volunteers with the Emerging Art Foundation in the United Kingdom. In addition to her research practice, Morvarid provides consultancy support across cultural, educational, and commercial projects, specialising in research, strategic planning, audience development, and communications. Her work focuses on helping organisations, foundations, and creative initiatives develop informed strategies, strengthen public engagement, and create meaningful opportunities for artists and audiences alike.
